Puerto Rico eliminates Vírgins Islands USA

With victory they secure a pass to the semifinals

(Press Release).- The national team of Puerto Rico, defeated the Virgin Islands yesterday afternoon by a score of 6 runs to 0, eliminating all competitive and qualifying possibilities for the natives of that island.

Puerto Rico (2-1) who are the current Central American and Caribbean champions, and who seek to qualify for this contest by 2023, managed to score 1 run in the first episode, 2 in the second, 1 in the seventh and 2 in the eighth, to seal his second victory in this IV Caribbean Baseball Cup.

The best with the wood were Rubén Castro 4-2 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored, Reynaldo Navarro 5-2 with 1 run scored, Pedro Nazario 3-1 with 1 run scored, Kevin Luciano and Ricardo De la Torre with 1 RBI each one.
