WBSC Americas is preparing and organizing the year 2025

(Press Release; WBSC AMERICAS BASEBOL).- The Executive Committee of WBSC Americas held a meeting this week with the subconfederations, as well as a representative of the WBSC with a view to planning international tournaments that the institution has on its 2025 calendar. .

WBSC Americas is preparing a handful of Pan American Pre-World Cup tournaments that will serve as qualifiers for the different World Cups in the respective categories.

Starting in the months of July/August, the World Cup qualifiers for the U15 categories are being prepared, in addition to the adult women's, Beisbol5 and the U23 categories, all of which have yet to confirm their venues.

Additionally, what is expected to be the great event of the year, the Copa América de Beisbol, is being prepared, scheduled to be played in the last third of 2025 for the adult category.

The Copa América aims to be an event that distributes places for the Central American and Caribbean Games and the Pan American Games, both key competitions within the programming of the Olympic Cycle that the baseball discipline has.

The Executive Committee of WBSC Americas and the subconfederations, later they will meet with the Federations and continue the mission of maintaining Baseball as the game of America and the Caribbean, preparing the path of each of the national teams for the World Baseball Classic that is scheduled for 2026 where will once again the teams from America and the Caribbean are called to be the maximum protagonists.
