(Press Release; WBSC-AMÉRICAS BASEBALL ).- Today the Anti-Doping Forum was held with free entry via zoom, an initiative of WBSC Americas together with the Panama Anti-Doping Organization as part of the training programs that are planned on schedule in the upcoming months.
In the virtual space, the participation of Dr. Saúl Saucedo, president ONAD-Panama and Director of the WBSC Americas Anti-Doping Commission, also included the participation of Diana Medina, in charge of regional Pan American anti-doping education.
The Forum was well attended by people from different parts of America and the Caribbean: Aruba, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Venezuela among other nations.
This is the first of a series of forums and training programs that WBSC Americas has decided to carry out as part of the actions of this Board of Directors towards the professionalization, updating and modernization of different areas related to the sport.
It is one of the purposes of this Board of Directors of WBSC Americas to provide these programs that allow massive outreach to people linked to the sport to continue updating themselves in the different competitions within their activities for the immediate future of baseball.
