(Press Release; WBSC AMERICAS BASEBALL).- During last week, from October 9 to 13, the Puerto Rico
Umpire Clinic Corp, held Refereeing clinics for the 3rd consecutive year, in
which 108 referees participated.
With
theoretical and practical work, these professionals worked intensely on issues
of conflicting plays and the advanced 3-referee system, to continue with their
training and updating.
The
event that took place last week is sponsored by the Puerto Rico Baseball
Federation under the supervision of the Umpire Coordinator and member of the
WBSC America Officiating Commission Carlos Rey.
All
of this as part of the referee training programs, among professionals who work
in the sport of baseball, who seek to keep updated and train.
The
training programs of the different professionals who work in the discipline is
something that WBSC Americas motivates and encourages the different Federations
that make it up to carry out and carry forward, all in favor of the game of
America.
