(Press Release; WBSC AMERICAS BASEBALL).- Through a press release, the FEDOM Executive Committee announced the calendar of its activities for the year 2025.
According to the statement, the president of FEDOM Juan Nuñez indicated that the first U14 National Championship will be held in 2025, but the competitions will begin at the end of February.
The press release highlights that on February 28, the Regional Tournaments will begin, starting in Barahona, then in San Cristobal, Monte Plata and Cotui during the month of March.
At the end of March it will be played in La Vega, then in April in Mao and in mid-April it will close in Sato Domingo Este and all this will mark the beginning of the U12 Robinson Cano National Cup Tournament.
The Robinson Cano U12 National Cup marks the beginning of the national tournaments and will be played in Punta Cana along with the Intercontinental Cup at the end of April and second week of May respectively.
For the month of June, FEDOM hopes to hold the National School Baseball5 Tournament and in August it is planned to hold the U6 National Championship “Frank Camilo Category”.
The first U14 National Championship is scheduled for September, while the U8 National Championship is scheduled for the end of September, while the U10 National Championship will be for the end of October, and the U11 National School Tournament is expected to close in November.
Internationally, the Dominican Republic plans to participate in the U15 and U23 World Cup Qualifiers, but will also have commitments in the U12 World Cup and the Junior Pan American Games as well.
The Youth Baseball5 qualifier and the Caribbean Cup are also on the calendar, in addition to the U10 Pan American Championship and the U15 Caribbean Cup in sight.
Additionally, FEDOM's press release announced training programs that include courses in digital annotation, refereeing, and training of technical commissioners, among others.
