Schedule released for the 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup

(Press Release).- The COCABE board together with the Organizing Committee defined this Friday, November 11, the competitive schedule for the 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup, which will be held at the new Andre Rodgers Stadium, in Nassau, Bahamas.

It will be played by one round robin system, with a day of rest before celebrating the semifinals, 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd, to later give way on the last date to the discussion of the medals and then define the 2 teams qualified for the Central American and Caribbean games in San Salvador.

The tournament will begin on Sunday, December 4 with the first match, at 10am, between Cuba and Curaçao, precisely the teams that went for the title last year. At 2pm Puerto Rico will face US Virgin Islands, at 6pm the opening ceremony and at night, 7:30 pm, Bahamas will receive Haiti.

From Sunday the 4th to Thursday the 8th of December, there will be 3 daily matches, Friday the 9th will be a day off, Saturday the 10th the semifinals and the match for the 5th place will be played, while on Sunday the 11th the matches will be held for the medals.
