The rain determined that only five innings and a little more would be played in Puerto Rico versus Venezuela and only that stopped the dominant Puerto Rican pitcher Kaniel Rosado who in five innings was throwing a no-hitter, with two walks and three strikeouts, finally scoring the victory and the milestone to elevate his team to a 2-2 record.
Nicaragua took a big step forward in the classification against Mexico, also at the Rod Carew stadium in an authentic duel worthy of these events, with the definitive victory by 4 to 3.
