Fourth edition Caribbean Baseball Cup to be held In Bahamas

(Press Release).- Nassau, Bahamas, will host the 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup "CBC", organized by the Caribbean Baseball Confederation "COCABE in Spanish", which is chaired by Curaçao native Engineer George de Lira; and it will be a qualifying event for the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador 2023.

This event that enters its 4th edition, will have the participation so far of Puerto Rico, Bahamas (host country), Haiti, US Virgin Islands, Curaçao and Cuba as guest country (Cuba is a country already seeded in the CCGs); and waiting for confirmations from Aruba and Colombia.

This event will be held from December 4 to 11 of this year and will give two (2) places for the Central American and Caribbean Games in El Salvador, which are scheduled to take place from July 23 to July 8, 2023. This approbation was granted by the Panamerican Baseball Confederation "COPABE in Spanish".

The Champions of this Caribbean Baseball Cup have been the Dominican Republic, who have won the first two versions (2018 & 2019) and Curaçao (2021), who currently hold the title of The Caribbean Champions.

This 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup, will have the following technicians who will be in charge of its development, headed by the Tournament Director Manuel Frias (Dominican Republic), as Technical Director Mr. Rodolfo Puente Zamora (Cuba) , the Director of Umpires and Scorers, Mr. Luis Daniel Delrisco (Cuba), Mr. Carlos Delpino Director of Statistics (Cuba), Mr. Hensley Josephina Technical Commissioner (Curacao) and Mr. Karel Williams Technical Commissioner (Aruba).

These 4th Caribbean Baseball Cup, has the support and co-organization of the Olympic Committee and the Bahamas Baseball Association.
