Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina and Peru will compete in the XIX South American Championship in Lima

(Press Release; WBSC AMERICAS BASEBALL).- The teams from Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Peru are participating, starting this Saturday, in the 19th edition of the South American Championship in Lima, Peru.

From November 16 to 23, the tournament will take place seeking to crown the best team in South America for seven days, including the Group Round, semifinals and the medal games.

CONSUBE begins the South American Championship as every year, the main tournament of this Confederation in baseball, which seeks to continue expanding the sport throughout South America.

The games will be held at the Andrés Avelino Cáceres Sports Complex in Villa María del Triunfo, where these four teams will seek to carry out a high-quality competition.

The first date will be played by Ecuador visiting Chile, then Peru will visit Argentina, on the second date Brazil will debut in the South American duel against Argentina, and in the second hour Chile will visit Peru.

More than one hundred athletes from each of these countries travel to the South American Tournament to seek the championship trophy that would crown them as the best on the South American continent.

It has been the goal of CONSUBE and WBSC Americas to globalize baseball on the continent much more, so this tournament means a lot for that purpose.
