Erick Ramos won in relief by striking out three batters in 1.1 innings of work, while offensively Jhosnel Granadillo went 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBIs, while Germain Ávila went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two driven in.
On Wednesday, Venezuela will play as a visitor against Peru first thing in the morning, while Brazil will face Argentina in the afternoon.
