History

The beginning of what is now known as the Puerto Rico Amateur Baseball Federation dates back to 1940, as an effort of the former Public Parks and Recreation Commission with the organization of the Double A baseball tournament. created the Amateur Baseball League and at the end of the 1953 tournament the League became known as the Puerto Rico Amateur Baseball Superior Circuit, affiliated with the Public Parks and Recreation Administration and chaired by Lcdo.
